“My boudoir shoot with Anya was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Anya came referred to me by one of my friends who had done a boudoir shoot with her. Soon after following her work I knew without a doubt I wanted to do a boudoir shoot with her as a gift for my future husband. Well, let me tell you this was the BEST gift I have EVER given myself as well. For years I have struggled with loving myself physically and emotionally and have worked so hard to learn to love myself. I am in the best place I have been in years and felt that this shoot was just what I needed to do to celebrate a new me. I was so beyond nervous but from the moment I walked into Anya’s studio all my nerves flew out the window. She made me feel so comfortable, beautiful and made not only the whole experience fun but beyond empowering. She was so kind, supportive and creative! I brought so many options with me and Anya was beyond helpful helping me pick out everything from the outfits I wore to the shoes and jewelry too. After picking out outfits it was time for hair and make-up while sipping on a glass of champagne, we all chatted like we have known each other for a while. Upon putting on my first outfit to start photos I got a little nervous again however Anya made feel like a natural like I had been doing this for years. Like I said before for many years I have struggled thinking I was not beautiful but let me tell you from the moment I walked into the studio I felt like a super model. After the shoot I can remember going home and telling everyone I know what an amazing experience it was, how empowering it was and that every woman should do a boudoir shoot once in their lifetime especially with Anya! After we met to review the pictures at her studio I was blown away. As I saw the photos, I can remember thinking, “I can’t believe that is ME! No way! The girl that I always thought was nothing special was everything I have dreamed of and more.” It was really me up there in the photos; strong, confident and beautiful. Anya’s work is beyond brilliant, she is beyond talented and a pleasure to work with. I am BEYOND THRILLED with every aspect of this experience.
