Every now and again I photograph a client and something unexpected happens. Miss. S came to me to do a boudoir shoot as a gift for her future husband on their wedding day. She seemed a little nervous when she came to the studio and most people do. While she sat in hair and make up, my stylist and I chatted with her about her upcoming wedding and all the fun details. We were having a great time already. Then it was time for her shoot. We started with the bridal look first. As I was taking her first few photos I could tell that she was still really tense and unsure of herself. I snapped one more photo of her and showed it to her on the back of my camera. And then…she started crying. I’ll be honest, at first I panicked because I thought something was wrong. But then Miss. S told me that she has never felt so beautiful in her life before. My make up artist and I started crying too. It was emotional for everybody. We collected ourselves, laughed it off, touched up the make up and had an amazing photoshoot. Miss. S loved all of her photos and I am so happy that I made her see her own beauty.

Classic and beautiful, but fun and edgy at the same time. I had so much fun photographing Miss. V in all of her different looks. We stuck with simple and neutral colors. And I love all the different shapes and textures of the wardrobe. She rocked her boudoir shoot!
